Home additions are a great way to increase the value of your house by adding to your total square footage. Obviously, not all homes are the same. An addition is highly specific to the design of the house/lot. You may need a new mudroom, a second floor added, a bonus room, dormers, or a full two-story addition. Mudroom additions
Over the years JB Builders has completed a number of mudroom additions. Older inner-city homes can sometimes lack any practical space in the doorway areas. The front door may be ok, but often the back door awkwardly enters the kitchen or living room. No one wants to enter a room with wet winter clothes or muddy boots. Thus, a mudroom addition makes it possible to store these things in a contained area, away from your common living areas. Clients of mine have been vocal about how practical and helpful it is to have this extra space. Not only that, adding more room transforms the entire home dynamic.
Non-invasive renovation
Another thing about additions is that you can often stay in your home during the building process. It can be a non-invasive way to renovate. Whatever the case, JB Builders takes practical measures to separate the living space from construction space so things can go on as normal.
